NTCGS is a member of two accrediting agencies: The Middle East Association of Theological Education (MEATE), and the Asian Theological Association (ATA). Currently MEATE has granted accreditation for the Master of Biblical Studies degree. Further accreditation for existing programs is being pursued in both MEATE and ATA.
NTCGS is also authorized to grant degrees by the North Carolina board of education. These degree programs of study have been declared by the appropriate state authority exempt from the requirements for licensure under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes Section (G.S.) 116-15(d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education.
