Master of Divinity

Master of Divinity

The Master of Divinity (MDiv) is designed for those who desire to further enhance ministry effectiveness or teach Bible and ministry courses at the college level. Program objectives include a deeper knowledge of the Bible and theology based on a normal, historical, grammatical hermeneutic as well as sharpened skills for communicating biblical truth. Entry into the MDiv program requires (1) a bachelor’s degree and (2) the completion of at least 60 master’s credits in Bible, theology, or ministry. All previous credits must come from a recognized college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Each MDiv student must complete thirty credit hours to bring their overall master’s credits total to 90 credits. Every MDiv student must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.5. MDiv students normally complete the degree in two years. They are grouped in cohorts, taking courses in seven-day modules twice per year. Online courses are taken in the summers.
