Doctor of Ministry Program

Doctor of Ministry Program

The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) is designed to provide advanced biblical and ministry training for Christian leaders who have been engaged in an ongoing ministry role. Program objectives include (1) an advanced knowledge of the Bible through expositional study using a biblical hermeneutic and (2) a thorough understanding of how to communicate God’s truth through expository preaching and teaching. In addition, students gain valuable insight into modern and historical challenges to sound doctrine. Entry into the D.Min program requires a graduate level Bible degree (this could be a Master of Divinity or an equivalent Master’s degree approved by the administration) from a recognized college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, only applicants with a minimum of three years of ongoing, faithful ministry experience in a leadership position will be accepted. Each D.Min student must complete thirty-six credit hours and maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. D.Min students normally complete the degree in three years. The schedule of courses includes in-person modules and may include some online classes.
